Cream Blushers

If you've never used a cream blusher before, chances are you think they're a bit of a difficult to use product that should be left to the experts. That's not true at all, they're really easy to use, in fact even easier than a powder because you don't need a brush and they look so much more natural on the skin.

Of course you can go for a full on statement blusher, but if you're after something for everyday, pick one that most closely matches your natural flush. Still confused? Go for a warm toned peachy pink with a subtle shimmer running through it, you really can't go wrong.

Application couldn't be simpler, if it's in a stick, wind up, swipe on and blend out. Which you can do with either fingers or a brush (a flat topped, duo fibre brush works best) If its in a pot just dip your finger or brush in first and check you haven't got too much product by tapping the excess off in the lid or on the back of your hand.

You can find great cream blushers by most brands, just watch out for excessive amounts of shimmer or glitter. You don't want to look like Data! On the high street go for the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush, Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Blusher or No7 Pop & Glow Cream Blush Stick. If you've got a bit more to spend, my high end favourites are the Nars Multiples, MAC Cream Colour Bases and Stila Convertible Colours which can all also be used on the lips.
